It’s Shamm pain for Nauta - 18.06.2010
THERE was no popping of corks for Nauta A as they lined up against league leaders Exiles at the campsite last Friday.

Some cracking darts were played in all the games, and every leg had both players going for a double. But the Silencio boys, inspired by Aston Villa fan Shammy (who hit a 180) took all five singles and a doubles game to record a superb 6-2 victory.
The Phoenix bar, bouncing up from fifth place to second, whitewashed Sundowners thanks to some great finishing from Ashley, supersub Steve and a bit of showboating by Bubbles, who finished 20- double 4, double 6!
A local derby on the Golf del Sur ended in a 7-1 win for Bar 180 against the Knights A, Richie registering a maximum score.
Part-timer Daz, of the X-Men, helped get his team off the bottom of the league with a 180 in a tight 4-4 draw against the Silver Surfers, who did well to come back from 4-1 down.
Up in Valle San Lorenzo, Toscales Ensecan were flying. Indeed, they flew eight places up the table into eighth place as they battered the Flukers 8-0.
Woodys A moved into a mid-table position with a fine 6-2 win at Strikers. Woody did a lot of damage by winning his three games.

In Division 2, table-toppers Barracudarts boys faced fellow title-chasers Gaffers. It seemed as though a close result would materialise as the home team’s Barrie, and Gary of Gaffers, swapped maximum scores. But the Callao Salvaje outfit got the upper hand to secure a 6-2 win.
The Nutters enjoyed the hospitality offered by Amigos Bad Girls. But the niceties ended there as the Nutters’ Dale helped himself to a 180 as they put the Bad Girls to the sword with an excellent 7-1 triumph to keep in touch with the league leaders.
Next-door neighbours Our Place Naturals and Tenerife Sun battled out a 4-4 draw in Silencio. Woodys B are apparently improving and had Silvia winning her first-ever game, but to no avail as they succumbed to Yelas Bar 5-3.
Naughty Nautas travelled to Bar 180 B and the hosts gave the visitors a warm welcome. But things cooled off somewhat as the 180 team came out on top 5-3.
Another Silencio derby match had the Playgirls facing up to Marilyns, little Mo winning her three games in a tight match which ended up all square at 4-4.
